Invitation from Every Moment Is Eternal

In our essential Being, we exist. There, worry is absent. Instead, there is acceptance of what is. There, there is no desire. There is no need. There is only Awareness of Existence. It is undefinable. It can’t be measured, but it is unquestionably present.

If you need to let go of something in order to find this, see that what you want to let go of isn’t there to begin with. When you are yourself, you are this. You can’t find it in words or descriptions, in some place, or in any thought, feeling, or sensation. There is an emptiness in you, overflowing with awareness of the fullness, because it is all-inclusive. It is free from time, space, shape, form, color, texture, mind, feelings, and sensation. It is free from desire, free from becoming, even free from being. Beyond everything, it just is. The presence of this is-ness gives reality to everything that exists. It is eternally present. It is never here, never there. It is where here and there are not a question. It is neither real nor unreal. It is where the question of real and unreal does not arise. It is not you, and not God. It is where the question of you and God does not appear. It is the basic truth of everything that exists, but it does not mix with anything. It is simply aware of all. This awareness of all is awareness of yourself, because there is one inclusive moment. It is beyond science, beyond religion. It is love itself, without loving something, because it has room in itself for everything, and it sees nothing but itself. Love sees love, and the universe is created. It is beyond cause, beyond manifestation, beyond the unmanifested. It is not part of yes or no. It’s not part of the present, the past, or the future. It is not timeless, nor is it time, yet it includes both. It is neither in the mind nor outside of it. It is that which is aware of the mind, time, space, form, shape, texture, color, here, there, and the moment. Every word carries an attribute of it, but it can’t be reduced to any word. Whoever tastes it, even once, makes poetry about it for the rest of their life, but it can’t be reduced to any poem. It exists in all pictures, all creatures, in every subatomic particle. It is the taste in the fruit, the freshness of the air, the clearness of the water, the strength of the mountains, the vastness of the sky and the ocean, the majesty of the wilderness. It’s that which we love. And it’s that which we are. It’s the aliveness of children. It is in laughter, in play, in all and everything. Nothing is created by it, because it is every thing. You cannot see it, but everything you see, you see with that. You can’t touch it, but everything you touch, you touch with that. You can’t put it into any words, but every word you pronounce, you are pronouncing with that. It is in all movement, and it is beyond movement. It is in noise, and in silence. Its attributes are present always and everywhere. Nothing can recognize it, but it recognizes everything. Everything that exists in the entire universe has desire for union with it, yet it is that desire itself. It is in the surface and in the depth and in the middle of everything that exists. It is undividable. It is so present, it appears hidden. The song of the birds pronounces it. The fragrance of the flowers pronounces it. The apple that becomes rotten and returns to the soil pronounces it. In fact, that is all there is. It’s so present in time, it is timeless. It is so much the essence of timeless that it becomes time. It is the origin of everything that exists, and itself has no origin. It is the instrument that makes music and it is the music and the musician. It is the joy that enters the ear when music is played. It is the nourishment that enters the body when food is eaten. It is the beauty we see when we see something beautiful. It is so real, always and everywhere it sees everything real and in unity. When you say it’s not, that’s just another way of saying it is. When you say “I don’t know,” that’s just another name for knowing. It is this moment. It is that which you can’t let go of, and also that which you can let go of. It doesn’t have a bow and arrow, yet it shoots an arrow into the heart of every particle in existence. That’s why love exists in everything. It is you yourself, always present.
