The aim of Breema is to decrystallize the body and decondition
the mind and feelings, to guide us towards our natural state
of balance. The bodywork facilitates a taste of presence in
the body that becomes the foundation of a new dimension of
Consciousness. Breemas profound philosophy affords deep
and coherent insight into the nature of the body and health.
Its commonsense wisdom guides the practitioner to support the
bodys instinctive healing energy, supporting vitality
instead of focusing on symptoms of illness or imbalance.
Received fully clothed, Breema is usually practiced on a padded
floor. Unique in its inherent expression of the Nine Principles
of Harmony, Breema eliminates the need for any force by the practitioner.
Instead, it uses the natural mechanics, rhythm, and relaxed weight
of the practitioners body to create a precise and dynamic
balance that is profoundly comfortable, enjoyable, and beneficial
for both recipient and practitioner.
Self-Breema exercises can be done anywhere, any time, in ordinary
clothing. Many and varied, the exercises include gentle stretches,
rhythmic movements, and new postures. Each provides an ideal,
supportive opportunity to apply and experience the Breema principles.
Practicing Self-Breema is both nurturing and energizing, and
supports physical and physiological flexibility and vitality,
mental clarity, and emotional balance.
