Breema: The Art of Being Present
a Weekend Workshop at Esalen
July 27 - 29, 2012
with Jon Schreiber, D.C.

Breema® bodywork teaches practical steps that anyone can take to create harmony and balance between your mind, feelings, and body, and in your relationship to yourself, to others, and to all life. It is a teaching of the heart, an expression of the unifying principle of existence. Its purpose is to help us live fully in the present moment. This workshop is an opportunity to immerse yourself in an accepting and deeply rejuvenating atmosphere, with the focus on practical tools for being present in daily life. You will learn the harmonizing movements of Breema bodywork and Self-Breema exercises, and explore the Nine Principles of Harmony, which can be applied in any activity. Working with these principles, we can discover a receptive mind, supportive feelings, and a relaxed body. Breema brings new flexibility, ease, comfort, vitality, and a tangible sense of wholeness and aliveness. The bodywork is received fully clothed; workshop participants should be comfortable sitting and working on a padded floor.
On the Central California Coastline, nestled between the Pacific Ocean, the Ventana Wilderness and the Santa Lucia Mountains, you will find Esalen Institute. Esalen—with its breathtaking views, cliffside hot baths, organic meals and nurturing ambiance—is a perfect compliment to Breema bodywork.
The Breema Center's founding director, Jon Schreiber, will be leading the weekend's classes. He will teach a series of fresh Breema bodywork sequences, Self-Breema exercises, and offer some practical guidance for how to bring Breema's Nine Principles of Harmony into your everyday activities.
This weekend-long workshop happens once a year and is a marvelous opportunity to immerse yourself in the deeply rejuvenating, vitalizing atmosphere of Breema amid the spectacular Big Sur landscape and relaxing environment of Esalen.
