Deepening the Connection to Your Body
In-person
Instructor: Christine Hunt

In Breema we learn how to establish a real relationship with our body to support ourselves as we encounter the challenges life serves us. Breema offers a way to deal with fear and anxiety, and physical discomfort via a connection to the body we don’t ordinarily have. Practicing simple Breema movement sequences supports a connection between our body and mind, creating a new relationship with ourselves. This relationship fosters acceptance of ourselves and others, as well as physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Breema’s movements are simple and fun -- exercises and bodywork that give us the opportunity to explore our relationship with our body as a place “to come home to” again and again, fostering confidence and clarity. Over the last 40 years, students from around the world have benefitted from practicing Breema to support themselves to learn how to come to the present moment in their daily lives. In this class, long-time Breema instructor Christine Hunt will lead you through several tension-releasing exercises and two basic partner movement sequences.
