BEGINNING COURSES
For those new to Breema or with fewer than 35 hours of Breema class experience, we offer a Weekend Workshop, a 3-day Course and a 6-day Course.
WEEKEND WORKSHOP and 3-DAY BEGINNING COURSE: Basic components of Breema are introduced in bodywork sequences and exercises. Emphasis is placed on the common-sense Breema principles and the experience of comfort in one's own body. Intermediate course students will join in from Sunday on, making this a truly multi-level course.
6-DAY COURSE: In addition to the three days described above, this course continues with 3 additional days of classes and workshops. Classes present bodywork sequences which can be combined to create whole-body (foot-to-head) treatments. Time for review and practice is provided in each class. Workshops provide in-depth exploration of different facets of the bodywork and principles of Breema.

HOW CAN I USE WHAT I LEARN ONCE THE COURSE IS OVER?
By working with body-mind connection in the bodywork and Self-Breema exercises, we become more and more familiar with the taste of presence. The practical tools and principles of Breema can be integrated and applied in any profession and in all activities of daily life. The art of being present can be practiced and experienced everywhere, and helps us bring greater harmony to all our relationships.
"As I looked around the classroom at many others ranging in age from their twenties through their seventies, I saw that I had expected my classmates to be massage therapists and personal trainers. During later conversations, I found out that I had partnered with a carpenter, a technical writer, an artist, a physician, even a San Francisco tour guide. Here was a group of people who were there for their own self-understanding, with an interest not only in the health of the physical body, but also in practical support for living daily life in harmony with oneself and one's environment. As a newcomer, I felt as if I were stepping into a current of flowing water, and year after year as I continue the study of Breema, the teaching continues to have afresh, dynamic quality."
Excerpted from an article by Kate Peros of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, about her experience in a Breema Intensive. (Cape Healing Arts, Summer 2007)
"Giving and receiving Breema is an opportunity to let go of our conditioning. The experience of Breema in our body lessens our unconscious identification with our crystallized 'knowledge,' while depositing in us a hologenic and organized knowledge that is the imprint of the taste of the Nine Principles on us."
Jon Schreiber, Breema and the Nine Principles of Harmony
