Breema is for anyone interested in more body-mind connection in life. It is for people interested in yoga, meditation, massage, healthy living and/or conscious self-development. This workshop is valuable to anyone wanting more access to physical, mental, and emotional balance including but not limited to massage therapists, yoga instructors, mental health practitioners, bodyworkers, and energy healers.
Breema is based on a profound understanding of the underlying unity of all life, expressed through the Nine Principles of Harmony. Breema bodywork and Self-Breema exercises, practiced with these Principles, use natural rhythmic movements that are both nurturing and vitalizing. Breema combines nurturing touch, firm yet gentle stretches, playful movements, holding, and tapping, to renew balance in mind, body, and feelings. The partner bodywork is practiced fully clothed on a well-padded rug or mat. Self-Breema exercises are done solo as a form of mindful movement and self-care.
Beginners welcome. Please be comfortable sitting and moving on a padded floor. Consider bringing a friend or family member to share the experience, and to practice with after the workshop.

Instructors:
Katherine has 33 years of experience with Breema. Laura Rawson, a Staff Instructor from the Breema Center in Oakland, CA, has 20 years of experience, and will bring wonderful added support to the weekend. Visit nashvillemindandbody.com for Katherine’s bio.

About The Farm:
Katherine is very excited to offer the workshop in the relaxed setting that The Farm has to offer. Please consider arriving on Friday afternoon and staying over Friday night for a Breema “getaway.” There is often a community potluck Friday evenings.
