When body and mind are connected, we can access the essential part of ourselves that has been covered up by wrong education and misguided expectations. The Nine Principles of Harmony are a roadmap for experiencing life directly—free from expectations. Breema bodywork and Self-Breema exercises support us to experience these nurturing principles and discover new, more harmonious perspectives that make life truly satisfying.

BE RELAXED AND CONFIDENT

Two things that your patients need in order to have a more successful outcome from the care you offer them are confidence and calmness. And these two characteristics are best supported in one way—by you, the provider, exemplifying them. This workshop is tailored to support health care practitioners in the fields of mental, physical, and emotional health, as well as body workers and all those in healing professions. We will learn Self-Breema Exercises, learn and practice Breema Bodywork Sequences (please be prepared to exchange bodywork with other students), and experience how the Nine Principles of Harmony can support your clinical practice, and your life!

We spend much of our time being sedentary, lost in our minds. Yet each movement you make throughout your day is an opportunity to be present. Self-Breema exercises are simple and dynamic, and offer a direct experience of body-mind connection. As you practice in class, you increase your ability to be present during your day. You will leave class nurtured, revitalized, and with newfound positivity! This is a hybrid class, and will be available in-person and online.

What’s the remedy for fear and confusion?
Body-mind connection. When we have it, we discover an inner strength that allows us to respond harmoniously to the events of life, instead of reacting to them in ways that cause harm to ourselves and others. Body-mind connection is the foundation on which we can build real understanding.

There are four relationships in our lives. By paying attention to them, we can bring more balance and harmony to everything we do. The first two relationships, our relationship to our body and our relationship to the outer world (job, money, friends, family), usually take most of our energy. The fourth relationship, our relationship to Existence, connects us to the greater meaning of life. To bridge these, Breema introduces us to a third relationship—the relationship to yourself. Through the third relationship, we connect mind and body, and learn to respond to life in ways that bring more harmony and balance to ourselves and those around us.

Our students benefit from a way of teaching that emphasizes both practical experience and the integration of Breema principles into daily life. In addition to training students who wish to receive a Practitioner Certificate, an important objective of the Breema Center is to serve those students whole goal is personal enrichment rather than career enhancement.
