Special guests Jon Schreiber, DC, director of the Breema Center, Matthew Tousignant, and Kevin Johnson

An Online Workshop presented via Zoom

The experience of parenting can be used as a catalyst for personal growth. Our interactions with our partners and children can help us to learn more about ourselves and how we relate to others. Breema and the Nine Principles of Harmony support us to approach parenting with willingness, offering tools like No Force, Firmness and Gentleness, and Mutual Support. With them, we can meet children in any stage of their development with open-heartedness and an interest in increasing harmony in relationship to them. The Nine Principles also show us the value of self-acceptance when the journey is challenging.

Join Alexis Mulhauser and Alexandra Johnson, with special guests Dr. Jon Schreiber, Matthew Tousignant, and Kevin Johnson, to explore how we can come to a more balanced and open posture toward our families and ourselves. We will learn self-care exercises that can bring body and mind together at any point in the day, and simple partner bodywork exchanges that can be practiced with other family members to supporting greater connection with ourselves and in each relationship.

Alexandra Johnson, MD, is a family physician and mother of five. She approaches parenting through the Nine Principles of Harmony and has found that this increases the ability to listen and respond to what is needed for parent and child, in the moment. Dr. Johnson is a Staff Instructor at the Breema Center, and has an integrative medical practice in Oakland, CA. Visit www.greetinghealth.com for more information.

Alexis Mulhauser has 20 years of experience studying and teaching movement, including Breema, yoga, martial arts, and dance. She is a Staff Instructor at the Breema Center in Oakland, CA, and teaches private Self-Breema sessions and weekly Nia dance classes. By applying Breema and the Nine Principles of Harmony as a single parent, Alexis has benefitted from an inner atmosphere of self-acceptance. She has found this teaching to be an essential tool to support and nourish her daily life, and wishes to share Breema with everyone.
