Transforming Loss and Grief

Image
Learn how Breema can transform loss and grief to presence and harmony
An In-Person Event
In-person
Instructors: Arlie Mischeaux and Ann Hudson

Nearly all of us experience loss at some point in our life. At those times, we especially need clear perspectives and practical support. The shock and grief that often accompany our most difficult experiences can be transformed into energy we can use to increase our understanding of life and prepare ourselves to deal harmoniously with challenging events.

In this workshop, we will present and practice a variety of Self-Breema exercises and some Breema bodywork, and explore Breema's Nine Principles of Harmony, which support us to reduce and release physical tension, balance our emotions, and clear our minds. When we are present, the body, mind, and feelings are united, and we can become receptive to our True nature and move in the direction of fully participating in life with an open heart.

The nurturing, grounding, and non-judgmental atmosphere a Breema workshop offers can guide us from the sense of complexity and feeling of separation that often accompany loss towards experiencing simplicity, connection andultimatelyacceptance of life and ourselves, moment after moment.

Ann Hudson

I am grateful to have been a student of Breema bodywork for over 30 years.  During this time I have also been an instructor at the Breema Center and a practitioner at the Breema Clinic.

As a student, I was struck early on by becoming present effortlessly during and after Breema classes. The experience of the present moment is like coming home; something that was missing before my discovery of Breema.  This experience of being present brings clarity of mind, quiet joyful feelings, and a...
